Tyre Stillage Project
We were tasked to design, build and install a complete tyre stillage facility within a purpose built warehouse located in Auckland. This was the first time a storage facility of this type had ever been constructed in New Zealand.
While still retaining the flexibility of a racking system that could be easily re-configured, the stillage units had to be fully earthquake proof up to four levels high, and allow easy access and storage.
Air New Zealand Blanket Cart
Air New Zealand came to us with a requirement to design and build a lightweight and compact in-flight storage trolley for their blankets. The resultant product is a first for commercial aviation industry. It’s framed construction is extremely light, yet strong with thin wall rigid panelling. With lockable castors it is manoeuvrable and easily secured.
It won a New Zealand “Aviation Industry Award” in 2016.
Maritime New Zealand Specialised Containers
Maritime New Zealand, in its role of emergency responder to maritime incidents such as oil spills, collisions, natural disasters, etc, requires the ability to efficiently move a wide variety of equipment to the scene of operation. That could be pumps, generators, containment equipment, etc – all of which are different sizes, shapes and weights.
We assisted by designing and constructing a range of containers with quick access gates and standardised sizing for easy stacking, storage and transportation.
Flat Pack Waste Container
Our recently designed Flat Pack Waste Container has been specifically designed for the recycling of cardboard. The folded down sheets of cardboard from boxes, packaging, etc can easily be inserted through the front access aperture, and stack neatly and efficiently for later unloading and processing.
This new concept will revolutionise how flat waste is handled – reducing storage, freight and maintenance costs.
